Thanking Indie Developers Day 16: White Paper Games

by GH Staff

FragmentsOn the sixteenth day of November, Gamer Headlines continues to recognize independent but self-published game developers, such as White Paper Games and Ether One; released in March 25, 2014, this first-person walking simulator deals with the fragility of the human mind. In this cognitive adventure, players will delve into someone’s mind and have two options: a.) focus strictly on the story that’s free from puzzles or b.) engage in these complex puzzles to restore life changing events of each patient’s memories.

Regardless, folks will need to venture across the map and inspect every nook and cranny of each environment to proceed further along the story. At times, the open world is so vast that some players can get lost. Therefore, definitely take plenty of notes when memorizing is not one’s best asset because everyone will need to revisit certain locations again! By putting the effort to solve these complex puzzles and finding important items, critics (from notorious websites and regular players) have stated that the player will feel quite rewarded. Right now, folks can download it at Steam.

Besides the short and brief generalization of the game, here’s another one of those wonderful thank you messages!

“Almost like a spiritual successor of Portal 2, this modern video game really flew under the radar for me, but I am quite thrilled to have stumbled upon it. It’s a first person adventure game that starts in a research facility that serves to study dementia/psychological issues in various patients. Conscripted and given access to these patients’ most distressing memories in hopes of curing their psychoses, you venture through them under the guidance of an omniscient female voice that will interject various background information. Great game as I have thoroughly enjoyed it. For the puzzles left me thinking about the game even after I quit playing, and the compelling story left an everlasting great impression. Therefore, thanks for the unseen hard-work and time!”
