Valve’s long awaited international Dota 2 tournament is finally announced!
On July 18th in Seattle, Washington’s KeyArena, the best Dota 2 players will go head to head to compete to be the best of them all (not to mention the multi million dollar prize pool, with last year’s pot totaling at 2.8 million). Four day tickets for this event start selling this Friday at 3pm Pacific time and will cost you $99 for general admission, $199 for floor seating and a whopping $499 for V.I.P access. Here’s what the V.I.P. tickets will give you access to:
- Access to all 6 days of Playoffs (formerly Group Stage) taking place on July 8th, before the Championships Event
- Floor Seating
- Exclusive VIP Meet & Greets
- Access to the After Party
With a international viewer base, it’s not surprising that some fans can’t make it out to Seattle so Valve is streaming the entire event completely free, and will be commentated over in a multitude of languages. The total money pot, and it’s accompanying ‘Compendium’ (Valve’s interactive tournament companion which boosts the pot total), will be announced soon so stay tuned to GamerHeadlines.com for more information.
