The final portion of The Last of Us DLC content has been revealed today by Naughty Dog. The last season pass content that is coming will be “multiplayer goodness with new maps, new weapons, new skills, and also a brand new difficulty mode for the single player campaign.”

No specifics about this impending DLC have been revealed as of now, but Naughty Dog stated that there will be more information as we draw nearer to its completion. This will be the final content offered to The Last of Us season pass consumers. If you recall, there have been several multiplayer additions to the game, along with the single player DLC Left Behind, which came out on February 14.

To clarify, no decision has been stated on whether this is just the last offering for season pass holders or if this is the last piece of The Last of Us DLC that we will see period.

If you have yet to play the masterpiece that is The Last of Us, there is no time like the present. The game received Game of the Year 2013 from multiple websites and magazines, and the recent Left Behind DLC added to the narrative and definitely did not disappoint.
