This new DLC will cost $14.99, and a bonus dynamic theme and comic will be included. Naughty Dog confirmed the rumors on their official twitter page:

The DLC will focus on the adventures of Ellie and her friend Riley. The story-thread will take place sometime between the events of the comics and the events of the original game. Joel won’t be a part of the DLC, but that’s where Riley comes in. Left Behind will probably keep gamers busy for quite some time, and the events on the DLC will take place in an urban shopping area. You will need the original game in order to enjoy Left Behind. Naughty Dog clearly stated that this will not be a standalone expansion. The game is already listed in the Playstation Store, so come Valentine’s Day, you can quickly shove away any romances and grab your controller.
