Samsung is about to revolutionize the smartphone market with the debut of it’s Samsung Galaxy Z. The Galaxy Z is a sleek, compact smartphone that delivers on both style and function. What really sets it apart though, is that is is the first smartphone to run on the Tizen operating system,which was created by Samsung and promises to be the next big thing. The Tizen Operating System
Tizen is Samsung’s new open source mobile OS. It is a powerful system, allowing for faster start up itmes and immediate multi-tasking with no lag time. Users can jump between applications with no glitches or delays. Tizen supports both 2D and 3D graphics, has smoother scrolling capabilities and improved memory function for faster internet browsing. The Tizen OS has 9 different home screens and dynamic boxes ( customizable widgets) for a truly personalized experience. You can have up to 8 apps along the bottom of the screen-most other phones have 3. Even more impressive is the fact that you can have multiple apps up at the same time displayed in split-screen style. This allows for very easy navigation and eliminates the hassle of switching between screens.
Since Tizen is new there are a limited number of apps by well-known publishers, but Tizen supports a majority of Samsung’s apps, like S Voice and S Health.
