To celebrate the newest fighters The Super Smash Bros Character Sale starts tomorrow

In honour of the newest set of challengers coming to the upcoming Super Smash Bros, Nintendo will be holding The Super Smash Bros Character Sale from the 14th to the 21 of August. The news was broken on Twitter today and will be running on both the 3DS and Wii U eShop.

Starting with Mega Man all of his classic games will be getting a 50% discount along with both of the Punch-Out games. Speaking of 50% discounts players who want to relive nostalgic memories or those who want to play one of the most addictive arcade games will be able to download the original Pac-Man on discount.

It’s not only nostalgic games that are getting the discount treatment either because the Wii U titles Wii Party U and Wii U Fit are on sale for the Wii U at 30% for both respectively while the 3DS gets the better side of the deal with Animal Crossing, Tomodachi Life and Kid Icarus Uprising all getting 30% off as well.

While its great to see the new challengers titles getting a discount, you may have noticed that Fire Emblem is missing from the offer. This is a big absence since Robin and Lucina was the most recent new characters revealed and Fire Emblem Awakening is on the 3DS eShop after all. They could have also put some of the older Fire Emblem games on the eShop, those would have sold fast.

The Super Smash Bros Character Sale starts tomorrow till August 21st.
