While the third chapter in Fabletown’s mysterious murder-spree has yet to receive its proper release date, the developers at Telltale Games were hinting at an unveiling since late last month. Job J Stauffer was the first to imply on his personal twitter account that the company was anticipating the moment to give their fans a “little something” to tide them over until The Wolf Among Us was designated for an actual launch date. With updates still trickling in, it seems that Telltale Games haven’t lost their edge when it comes to reeling in the gaming community’s undivided attention.
#TheWolfAmongUs Ep 3 'A Crooked Mile' is less than a mile away. We should have a little something later today to sink your teeth into…

We’re still uncertain on the premises of when exactly the third chapter will become available to the public, but Telltale Games has always held an exceptional record for divulging information whenever they’re preparing to announce a game’s release. Such tactics have been used for prior installments of The Wolf Among Us and the second season of The Walking Dead that aired its second episode last month. Thus, I’d bet we’ll be seeing it sometime in the near future. The trailer published on Xbox’s official channel summarizes the events following chapter two’s “Smoke and Mirrors” installment, so for the sake of those attempting to avoiding spoilers– feel free to pause here and check back when we’re granted further insight on upcoming release.
The unforeseen conclusion of “Smoke and Mirrors” was definitely one to remember. No doubt the game itself will focus primarily on action and impulsive choices from here on out as the chase continues to detain the murderer of three of Fabletown’s downtrodden women. This chapter has also been confirmed by the developers to showcase a fully-transformed Bigby Wolf; allowing players to view the sheriff of Fabletown in all his destructive glory. It’s a lot to look forward to, especially considering how the consequences of siding with (or against) numerous reoccurring characters will pan out.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on any movement from Telltale Games concerning The Wolf Among Us and its ever elusive release date.
