This Friday will see the release of Koei Temco’s Samurai Warriors 4 in Europe, and for those of you interested in getting the game, the UK site Rice Digital still has copies of the PS4 version of the Samurai Warriors 4 Anime Edition available for pre-order. The game’s price has also been lowered to £52.99 If you live in the UK, you’ll also get free shipping.
You’ll have to pay £4.95 in shipping if you want to get Samurai Warrior 4 Anime Edition in the States.
The Samurai Warriors 4 Anime Edition comes with an original soundtrack CD, the second Old Costumes DLC and episode zero of the Samurai Warriors 4 anim. In the second Old Costume DLC pack you”ll get alternative costumes for the characters Keiji Maeda, Kenshin Uesugi, Kunoichi, and Shingen Takeda.
Samurai Warriors 4 has the biggest rooster in the series to date as virtually every character in the series has returned, including three characters who were cut from previous versions as well as nine new characters. This means that the rooster is 55 characters strong and that’s before you include your created character, with Samurai Warrior 4’s expanded Create a Warrior mode.
In every battle you’ll be able to bring 2 characters into every battle, which you can switch between at any time. The game’s story mode has been revamped too following each of the game’s clans and prefectures, so you’ll be able to choose which character you want to play as in every stage.
