After Titanfall was presented at several industry events that featured playable demos of the game a rumor has been going around that the maximum player count of the game will be Six versus Six.
In an official statement made by Respawn Entertainment co-founder Vince Zampella officially confirmed the rumor stating that this ‘turned out to be the best balance with AI’ for them.

Even though the number seems rather low compared to other AAA multiplayer titles such as Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty it has to be taken under consideration that after all alongside the players there will be a constant presence of AI humanoid machines.
The official release of Titanfall is March 11 for the North American region, while European players will have to wait until March 13 to get their hands on the game.
