The Last of Us (2013)

Living in an infectious post-apocalyptic world in 2033, she first appears in a quarantine zone in Boston with protagonist and smuggling partner Joel.  Though her background story remains a mystery, her sacrifice for humanity not only allows her close comrades to escape, but also marks Tess as a fallen heroine.

While crossing terrains, the survivors must avoid the infected, especially the crying witch who won’t back down until a shotgun in a head.
