The video above is of the new playable monster Turtle Rock will be giving to players who have either purchased the pre-orders for Evolve or will pay for the Monster Expansion Pack.
Turtle Rock has said that this new monster will the biggest monster in Evolve ever. They added that when they were working on designing Behemoth they scaled everything up to the maximum potential of the game. Other than being a gigantic monster to play and fight against, Behemoth has other additional features that separate it from the other monsters.
These features include the ability to roll around in order to get from place to place along with attacking the hunters, Lava Bombs as projectiles to launch and release damaging magma, the ability to summon a wall barrier made of stone to either protect yourself or encase the hunters and isolate them for direct damaging. Behemoth is also given a very long tongue which players can use in order to grab the hunters. Another long addition to Behemoth is the tusks, which will be used for thrusting type attacks.
Obviously the size of Behemoth thwarts its ability to jump or even climb surfaces quickly. This will make for a wide time range to attack the Behemoth if you are playing as any of the hunters.
