Developer Jagex has officially announced the sign-ups for the closed beta weekend of Transofrmers Universe has begun. All those looking to get into the MMO can apply for the beta starting tomorrow, March 15th, the next beta weekend. Two brand new trailers were also revealed by developer Jagex, showing off the new robots Front-Line and Conduit. The closed beta weekend runs between March 15-16. This weekend will introduce the new robots seen in the new trailers, which are exclusive to the Transformers Universe game. The studio have a detailed description of Autobot Front-Line, saying:
“He’s the first in, and the last out, of any fight. He’s a slugger with an instinct for mayhem. Armed with a mini-gun, axe and hammer attack, this is a bot that definitely shouldn’t be messed with.”
They also described the Decepticon Conduit:
“Conduit is a Decepticon who is part healer and part killer. He’s fully in touch with his darker side and, whilst able and primed to heal and keep his allies fighting for the cause, there’s no mistaking the lethality of his attacks.”
Transformers Universe is looking to be the Transformers MMO fans have been long waiting for. Let’s hope developer Jagex understands the pressure and can live up to it. Check out the new trailers below.
