A new entry on PlayStation Blog has announced and confirmed the release date to Trine Enchanted Edition for PlayStation 4.
Trine Enchanted Edition is described as “a remake of the original Trine with dazzling new visual effects and a vast number of gameplay improvements and fixes.” The title will also feature 15 levels, local and online co-op, will run at 60 fps in 1080p resolution, and will support Stereoscopic 3D.
A price point was not announced within the blog entry, but a release date of December 23rd was confirmed for the upcoming title.
Trine focuses on solving environment-based puzzles while defeating enemies as players take on the roles of a wizard, a knight, and a thief. Earlier this year Trine 2: Complete Story was made available as a free download to all PlayStation Plus members for PlayStation 4.
Trine 2: Complete Story is currently available on PlayStation 4, with Trine Enchanted Edition to follow later this month. A Wii U version of Trine Enchanted Edition is also in development.
