If you’ve been considering becoming a Guardian or your just not sure if Destiny is for you then listen up because Bungie has released a free Destiny demo for PS3 and Xbox 360 owners, and a free trail version for PS4 and Xbox One owners.
Weighting in at 6GB on the last gen consoles and 20GB on the current gen consoles, the free demo and trial will let you sample the character customization as well as some co-op activities, story missions and you’ll be able to explore the Tower.
If after playing through the demo you buy the full game, your Guardian will be transferred over as long as you buy the game for the same console you played the demo on. Meanwhile the PS4 and Xbox One trail versions of Destiny can be upgraded via the game menu and you won’t be required to buy a full retail version of the game.
The free Destiny demo and trails are now available for download on the Xbox Store and PlayStation Network.
