Publisher Ubisoft has launched a new feature, “Question the Creed,” on the website for their upcoming open-world stealth title Assassin’s Creed Rogue, allowing enthusiastic fans to relive past moments from the franchise and question the actions made by the Brotherhood.
Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, Ratonhnhaké:ton (Connor) and Aveline de Grandpré’s famous assassinations of Templars throughout the centuries appear in the interactive feature, and, after watching the cutscenes of these moments being played out, players have the option to select whether they were the right decision to be made.
Additionally, Abstergo Entertainment employee Melanie Lemay and Brotherhood member Shaun Hastings offer a perspective for the user to consider before selecting whether the fallen Templar should have been killed.
The feature ties in with Assassin’s Creed Rogue’s protagonist Shay Patrick Cormac, a former Assassin who turns to the Templar cause, and Ubisoft’s new add-on feature to the website is in preparation for the release of its last-generation title this month.
Assassin’s Creed Unity, on the other hand, will be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, with Ubisoft revealing further details on its current-generation title over the past few months, including Unity’s creative director, Alexandre Amancio, discussing the personality of protagonist Arno Victor Dorian, a new trailer recently released, the cast of the title discussing their characters and the official soundtrack is now available for purchase.
Running on the AnvilNext engine, Assassin’s Creed Rogue will launch in North America on November 11th and November 13th in Europe for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, while the PC version is expected for release in 2015.
