Used Cars Simulator is out now on Xbox Series X|S, bringing the car-trading sandbox from developer Dreamway Games and publisher PlayWay S.A. to console through the ID@Xbox program. The launch was announced on Xbox Wire on September 25, 2026 in a feature by Joanna Berezowska, Head of Marketing at Dreamway Games. Players start with limited money and an old shed, then build a business around buying, repairing, and reselling cars, some of them stolen.
How the Car Trading Loop Works
Every flip starts before a car changes hands. Players inspect the vehicle’s condition, look for damage and missing parts, and negotiate the price. A low asking price does not automatically make something a bargain, since a cheaper car can end up costing more once the repairs begin. After the deal closes, the work starts: fix the dents, replace missing parts, wash and repaint the body, then put the car back up for sale. Dreamway Games recommends keeping money moving by finding a deal, buying, repairing, selling, and reinvesting the profit instead of getting attached to a finished project.

The Xbox Wire feature lays out five tips for growing the business. First, inspect a car and plan the repair before buying. Second, keep money moving between deals. Third, leave the shed once in a while to drive around, meet characters, and complete quests. Fourth, remember that cars are also physics toys, so keep the business inventory separate from the ramp experiments. Fifth, decide how much chaos the business can handle, because illegal shortcuts can draw the police.
An Open World With Physics and Police
Outside the workshop, the game offers an abandoned city to drive around, quests to complete, and a desert to explore with a metal detector. It is also a physics-driven sandbox where players can drift, hit jumps, experiment with vehicles, and chase scores on leaderboards. Illegal activities and police chases are part of the package, so a questionable way to acquire a vehicle can quickly turn into an escape from the cops.
