Video Game Releases for the Week of 12/15/2014

by GH Staff

There aren’t a lot of interesting games releasing this week. Most of this week’s line-up consists of re-releases of older games or ports of other titles such as Metal Gear Solid 4 and Ground Zeroes, Oddworld: Munch’s Oddyssey, Loadout and Guilty Gear Xrd –SIGN-. I personally, won’t be playing any of these titles as my gaming backlog is absolutely ridiculous right now, but it’s great to see games releasing even if the Holiday season is almost upon us. Anyways, here is the list of games launching throughout the week of December 15, 2014.

Note: All of the dates and prices listed below are for North American territories. Also, keep in mind that this list is subject to change with new games potentially announced or launching this week without notice.

After the franchise’s ten-year-long absence, the latest effort promises an experience unlike any other with a 1:1 open world galaxy where players can take on multiple trading, bounty-hunting, piracy and assassination missions. Its open-ended gameplay is truly Elite: Dangerous’ main hook as the player’s action will constantly affect the persistent universe present in the game. Though it is only releasing on PC this week, expect it to launch on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in the future.
