Last week we covered how Blizzard’s next expansion Warlords of Draenor will potentially come with a level 90 boost to your character upon pre-purchasing the expansion, as well as being able to pay to boost your selected character to level 90.
With the new 5.4.7 PTR patch going live some time soon, the new patch notes suggest that boosting your characters primary professions may be an option.
The patch contains a new global string with the description of “Level 60+ characters will also receive a skill level boost to their primary professions”.
This suggests that next expansion, you may not only be able to boost your character to level 90, but you should also be able to boost your professions too.
So what does this mean?
Some players may think this is a bad thing, as it can potentially take away the adventure of the leveling process. While some veteran players are cheering at the fact that they do not need to go through the repetitive leveling process a ninth or tenth time around.
Ahead of the new arena Season 15, Blizzard have also changed the base resilience percentage from 72% to 77% for all level 90 players. This is probably to accommodate for the fact that the Dampening Effect has been reduced from a 10 minute start timer to a 5 minute start timer and Season 15 Prideful gear is going to have better statistics with a whopping 550 item level – a 28 item level upgrade from Grievous gear.
This PvP gear is almost the same item level as normal mode Siege of Orgrimmar gear and with the new expansion not expected to release until around September 2014 – is it possible we could see another tier of PvE content? or is Siege of Orgrimmar just going to be another Dragon Soul?
