Nintendo has revealed the list of new downloadable titles and sales on its North American 3DS and Wii U eShops for the week of September 11, 2014. This also includes the massive Super Smashing Sale, which will last throughout the entire month of September.
On the 3DS eShop:
- The Keep ($12,99)
This first-person dungeon crawler brought to us by CINEMAX hopes to awaken memories of exploring old-school dungeons in RPG-type games. In order to defeat the nefarious wizard Wartys inside The Keep, the player will have to master the game’s real-time combat, unique rune magic system as well as solving puzzles while exploring the dungeon. If you think you have what it takes stand against evil, then The Keep awaits you!
- Top Model 3D ($19,99)
Top Model 3D lets you experience the life of a supermodel in a fantastic 3D world. The player will be able to compete in various Make-up, Fashion, Photo Shoots and Catwalk minigames in order to become the next top model.
- Hideaways: Foggy Valley ($4,99)
Available September 12, Hideaways: Foggy Valley is a puzzle game where the player must find hidden objects scattered across all of the beautiful vistas, landscapes and rustic buildings available in the game. Featuring bonus sliding tile puzzles and spot-the-difference games in every location, this title hopes to seek your interest with its fun seek and find gameplay that is packed with over 1000 carefully placed objects.
*Take note that, despite launching on September 16, THEATRHYTHM FINAL FANTASY CURTAIN CALL and Cooking Mama 5: Bon Appétit! will not be available as digital downloads this week.
On the Wii U eShop:
- Teslagrad ($14,99)
Telsagrad is making its console debut on Wii U this week. It’s a 2D puzzle platformer where the player will have to use electromagnetic powers in order to discover the secrets of the old Tesla Tower. Jump into the 100 levels where the player’s experience forges the game’s storyline.
- Kickbeat Special Edition ($9,99)
Available September 16, Kickbeat Special Edition merges the rhythm and action game genres to deliver a unique experience. Featuring licensed tracks from multiple artists, the player will have to match beats as well as master the art of Kung Fu in Kickbeat.
On the Wii U Virtual Console:
- Adventure Island ($4,99)
As Master Higgins, you must save your true love Tina from the hands of the evil Witch Doctor. Explore the mysterious Adventure Island in this classic 2D platformer featuring eight perilous stages that are filled with enemies that only seek your demise. Re-experience this 28 year old NES title on your Wii U today!
And finally, eShop sales:
To celebrate the release of Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, Nintendo is having a Super Smashing Sale where you can save up to 33 percent on games that have made your favorite Smash characters famous throughout the entire month of September. Week 2 of the sale will offer discounts on selected The Legend of Zelda, Fire Emblem, Kid Icarus, F-Zero, Mega Man and Sonic games until September 18.

- The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (3DS)
A Link Between Worlds is now $29,99 instead of $39,99 on the 3DS eShop.
- The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (Wii U)

- The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Oracle of Seasons (3DS)
Both Oracle games are now $3,99 each instead of $5,99 each on the 3DS Virtual Console.

The GameBoy Advance Zelda game, The Minish Cap, is now $4,99 instead of $7,99 on the Wii U Virtual Console.
- F-Zero (Wii U)
The SNES racing game from 1990 is now $4,99 instead of $7,99 on the Wii U Virtual Console.
- Fire Emblem: Awakening (3DS)
The latest Fire Emblem RPG is now $29,99 instead of $39,99 on the 3DS eShop.
- Mega Man & Mega Man 2 (3DS)
Both NES Mega Man games are now $3,49 each instead of $4,99 each on the 3DS Virtual Console.
- Mega Man X & Mega Man X2 (Wii U)
Both Mega Man X games are now $4,99 each instead of $7,99 each on the Wii U Virtual Console.
- Kid Icarus: Uprising (3DS)
Kid Icarus: Uprising is now $24,99 instead of $34,99 on the 3DS eShop.
- Kid Icarus (Wii U)
The classic NES platformer is now $3,49 instead of $4,99 on the Wii U Virtual Console.
- Sonic The Hedgehog (3DS)
The first Sonic game ever made is now $3,49 instead of $4,99 on the 3DS Virtual Console.
– Other sales in the eShop:
- Just Dance 2014 (Wii U)
This title, as well as other selected Just Dance games, offers a 50 percent discount until September 14.
- Unepic (Wii U)
This game is now 20 percent off, making it $7,99 instead of $9,99. This offer will last until October 1.
- Bit Boy!! Arcade (3DS)
This title is now 38 percent off, making it $4,99 instead of $7,99. This offer will last until September 24.
- Parking Star 3D (3DS)
This game is now 33 percent off, making it $1,99 instead of $2,99 . This offer will last until October 2.
- Beyblade: Evolution & Girls’ Fashion Shoot (3DS)
Both of these Rising Star games are discounted up to 75 percent until September 25.
