Whenever we talk about the instant messaging service on mobile devices, the first name comes to the mind is WhatsApp, this has turned the face of mobile messaging. Though there are many competitors in the market but no of them has reached the place where WhatsApp is right now. This is basically communication tool, which has combined emails and social networking at one place and has been serving as a time saving device. The main idea behind this is people can check everything at one place, with just combining the network. But this amazing time saving ability comes with some cost.
For other social networking tools this is proving to be double edged sword. A 46 year old man form Zimbabwe has stabbed him in the stomach that he has found the messages of an alleged lover on this wife’s phone. This incident will raise many questions about the safety of the network. The similar incident occurs regularly on other social platforms, this was the first case with WhatsApp. Here the question comes to the mind that, what would be the reaction of WhatsApp for the same. Is it safe to use Whatsapp? To be very frank as if now, it appears to be safer as compared to other social networking but we are not much sure what would happen in future.
The police department of Zimbabwe has neither confirmed nor denied about this incident. Whatsapp cannot do anything much to stop these kind of incidents, all they can do is can do something about other people viewing messages, may be block users. This incident has really shocked the people around about the future of WhatsApp. But people have to understand the fact that these applications are created for the users to interact with other not to interfere in others life. But there is old saying ‘good things come with bad impacts” meaning there is always a side effects of everything which has been created. Though Whatsapp block the users but there are still chances that people may create new accounts. There is a big question comes to mind that how can Whatsapp do anything for the people, who do such kinds of things. Basically, it depends on person who they react during those circumstances.
Whether these social networking are safe or nor, but the answer is not yet identified and cannot be decided easily. Though this could be freak but there are chances things like this may occur in future as well. If things will go same way, there are chances that Whatsapp will be added to those social networking where people use this for wrong intentions. To ignore these things, people need to make difference with their mentality. Troubling people life is never been good and just because of some bad guys these good things making wrong impressions on people. If you study thoroughly you will come to know there have many incidents like this which has been came to the life since the birth of Facebook and MySpace.
