Windows 10 Tracks Every Information on Users: True or False?

Microsoft, one of, if not the largest multinational companies around the globe, has finally given a reply towards the comments on the Technical Preview of its new operating system (OS).

Websites across the internet claim that the Technical Preview for Microsoft’s newest OS, namely Windows 10, comes with a “built in key logger” that will be able to track its user’s every keystroke. This piece of information was released earlier this month, and the users of Microsoft were enraged by the idea. Some comments against the company states that Windows 10 is an insecure OS that could easily deposit the user’s data of their password, emails, private messages, etc. into easily readable data files. Redmond, Microsoft’s headquarters, however, has answered to these allegations by saying that it was all true. They also state that Windows 10 does log your data, but everyone should remember that it is stated in the Terms of Use and the users agreed on it.

Windows 10 Tracks Every Information on Users: True or False? As a company spokesperson for Microsoft told The Register, a media company, their company would kick off the largest open collaborative development effort ever. This will change the way they build and deliver Windows to its users. Furthermore, the spokesman also stated that users who would choose to join the Windows Insider Program and decide to be a part of Windows 10 Technical Preview may choose to provide data and feedback that will be a great help to shape the best Windows experience for their customers.

According to Microsoft’s Terms of Use, the data they are in need of include personal information of people for them to be able to improve the products and services that they are offering. The firm will also reserve the right to collect your full name, email address, browsing history, phone call logs, your social networking service (SNS) data and application usage. This much information practically gives no one any privacy. It’s enough to make anybody shiver. Whether or not all these collection procedures will bundle into a final release remains to be unknown.

Those people who are reaching to delete their Delete System32 accounts should not fear. You’re chances of winning the lottery are higher than the chances of Microsoft misusing the data it collects. Although it does set a disturbing example as the company becomes more and more up-front about its policies. Whether all of this data is only a way Microsoft to improve Windows 10, though, is up to the consumer to decide.
