More information has been released regarding Blizzard’s World of Warcraft 10th Anniversary celebration, set to start on November 21st, and lasting until January 6th. This, along with Warlords of Draenor set to release in the same month, means a big month for World of Warcraft players. The update will consist of the following:
–Maximum Molten Core: The 40 person raid is receiving an upgrade, and will be available via Raid Finder during the celebration period, with a level 100 requirement. Once you complete the raid, killing The Fire Lord Ragnaros, you’ll get a Core Hound riding mount and a Warlords of Draenor Raid Finder quality helmet. This raid was one of the first that most World of Warcraft players experienced, so it’s nice to see it getting special attention.
–Southshore vs. Tarren Mill Battleground: A totally new battleground will be introduced. There will be two versions of this battleground introduced, one for players between level 90-99, and another for those level 100. Win in this battleground and you’ll be rewarded with Tarren Mill Terror (for the Alliance) and Southshore Slayer (for the Horde) titles. This battleground is for those who love team deathmatch style PvP.
-Molton Corgi: This adorable, cute pet will be given to everyone who logs into World of Warcraft during the celebration period. So not much is exactly required to get this pet.
If you’re absolutely desperate for the Core Hound mount, you best start leveling, after January 6th, if you’re not level 100, then you won’t have a chance to get the mount again. If you’d like to compete in the level 100 version of the battleground, the same applies.
So for those World of Warcraft fans out there, there’s a lot going on for you. You have the 10th anniversary update to look forward too, along with Warlords of Draenor, which is set to release on November 13th.
