World Wrestling Entertainment has revealed on Twitter a brand-new image for the upcoming free-to-play title WWE Immortals.

Immortals, which was announced earlier this month by WWE and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, has already had two images released this month, with the first one featuring Dwayne Johnson, AKA The Rock, while the second photo focuses on the reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar.

The latest image confirms that well-known WWE superstar/actor John Cena will be making an appearance in the title’s roster.

In 2002, Cena made his debut in the WWE against former superstar Kurt Angle, and since then, he has risen to main event level status and, in the progress, held the prestigious WWE World Heavyweight Championship for a record-breaking 12 times.

Developer NetherRealm Studios, better known for their work on Injustice: Gods Among Us and the upcoming Mortal Kombat X, is collaborating with Phosphor Game Studios on WWE Immortals.

The promotional images for The Rock and Brock Lesnar share a similar art direction with the two mascots from the Mortal Kombat franchise — Scorpion and Sub-Zero — while John Cena is sporting an attire to rival Superman’s look from Injustice: Gods Among Us (see the tweet at the bottom of the article).

WWE Immortals will launch on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android devices sometime in 2015.
