Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners will get exclusive access to the Dead Rising: Watchtower movie adaptation, one week before it’s made available to everyone else. Users will be able to stream the full movie via Crackle (ironically a Sony-backed streaming service), starting March 20th.
I can’t think of anyone better than Rob Riggle to play quick-witted journalist and famed zombie-whacker Frank West, in this prequel to the original Dead Rising game. He’ll be joined by Jesse Metcalfe, Meghan Ory and Dennis Haysbert in a zombie-comedy that seems to stay faithful to the Dead Rising universe, particularly in its use of outlandish customised weaponry. I’m hoping we’ll see the Blitzkrieg (a machine gun-mounted wheelchair) make an appearance. Fingers crossed.
