Delayed it may have been, but it has finally arrived. The anticipated update for Microsoft’s Xbox One starts rolling out today, and will be spreading to users over the weekend. The update comes partially at Microsoft’s own initiative, as well as Respawn Entertainment’s request. The main feature of the update is centered around new app and storage management features, making it easier for Xbox One users to oversee and manage their installed games. The update also adds a wireless controller battery monitoring icon, as well as support for install lineup. A tweak to achievements is also included.

Additionally, the update includes some tweaks to Xbox One controller options, adding USB Keyboard support, and refining stick precision on the controller. This tweak to the controllers was asked for by Respawn officials, in preparation of Titanfall’s March 11th launch, and in support of its currently on-going PC and Xbox One beta. Before Titanfall launches though, Microsoft will be releasing another major update to the Xbox One, mainly one that will focus on improving team chat functionality, as well as refining friends list management.
