Crimson Desert Patch 2.01.00 is rolling out across platforms with a new dispatch mission and a broad collection of fixes touching quests, combat, user interface, graphics, localization and stability. At the time of the official notice, the Steam PC and Mac versions were listed as available.

Pearl Abyss published the complete changes in the official Patch 2.01.00 notes. The developer describes the release as a package of bug fixes and stability improvements and advises players to check the update notice for the current status of each platform.

A new dispatch mission and camp improvements

The headline content addition is the Gold Bar Investment Mission, a new dispatch mission. Camp donations have also been rebalanced so that donating Silver now provides ten times as many Camp Funds.

Several quest and camp problems are addressed. Furniture should no longer appear without its house at Greymane Camp, and retrying horse-riding quests now restores the horse’s health. The patch also fixes a case where The Cursed Knight could remain incomplete after all of its subquests were finished, plus an incorrect resource display for camp donation missions.

The update improves photo mode by allowing the camera to tilt. The skill menu now shows a visual effect identifying skills that become available when the player obtains specific skill-related knowledge.

Combat and movement fixes

Patch 2.01.00 resolves several action-related problems. The character should no longer stop flying after using Force Current in flight, while Ambush is less likely to activate against an unintended target. A separate fix targets characters freezing underwater after using Body Slam in shallow water.

The notes also cover Spirit failing to replenish when Focus was used while clinging, Focused Charged Shot being unavailable with a musket, and companions or mounts sometimes refusing to engage enemies in combat.

UI, graphics and localization changes

The initial minimum-font-size setup now changes values with a single click on its arrow controls. Pearl Abyss also fixed the bottom UI disappearing during some Abyss Gear tab interactions, cases where Spanish could not be selected as a voice language, and other incorrect interface displays.

Graphics work includes reduced visual noise around rainy weather and puddles, a lighting fix for interiors on M5 devices, and a frame-rate problem near fences after placing outdoor furniture. Localization errors have been corrected across supported languages.

Additional fixes address delayed NPC interactions, an incorrect gold-bar withdrawal display when inventories were over capacity, missing ranged-weapon key guidance while sliding, obstructed map-camera views and several quest-specific visual or interaction problems. The update also corrects cases where Blackstar summons could trigger other mounts.

The official notice maintains a separate known-issues section, so the changelog should not be read as resolving every reported problem. Platform rollout may also vary; the notice confirms availability on Steam for PC and Mac at capture while describing the wider release as rolling out across all platforms.
