Phasmophobia is marking its sixth anniversary with a four-day event. Kinetic Games announced the celebration on the game’s Steam Community page on September 18, 2026, pairing a Twitch Drop campaign with an in-game Double XP & Rewards bonus.
Six Years of Phasmophobia
Phasmophobia is a co-op ghost-hunting game developed by Kinetic Games. Developer Tom Dent addressed players as Ghost Hunters in the announcement and thanked everyone who has joined the game across its six years.
The event runs from September 18 through September 21. The ghost-hunting loop at the center of the game appears alongside other titles in GamerHeadlines’ list of survival horror games to play around Halloween.
Twitch Drop and 6th Anniversary Charm
Viewers earn the 6th Anniversary Charm by watching two hours of any Phasmophobia stream on Twitch. The two hours can be spread across any Phasmophobia streams during the four-day window.
Double XP and Rewards
Double XP & Rewards apply to every completed contract in-game while the event is active.
