Nexon published patch notes for The First Descendant Hotfix 1.4.3c on the official Steam Community page on September 19, 2026, one day after the update went live. The update for the free-to-play looter shooter, a genre shared with games like Warframe, launched on September 18 at 20:00 PDT on Steam, Xbox, and PS5, and its main balance change reduces Luna’s Remix skill values tied to the Battlefield Artist Module before a 21:00 PDT leaderboard reset later that evening.
Patch Platforms, Reconnect Notice, Quest Fix, and Weapon Skill Fix
The hotfix is available on Steam, Xbox, and PS5. Nexon asked players to reconnect to the game after the patch. If the game is not updated within 1 hour after the patch, it may close. In addition to the Remix balance change, the hotfix included bug fixes for quests, weapons, and inventory lighting. The patch fixed an issue where the Hailey Descendant-exclusive quest could not be progressed, so players can now continue that quest normally. It also fixed an issue where the Skill Power Amplification Rate option of Transcendent Weapons was not applied when equipping Unique Weapons for Descendants Lepic and Jayber, so the option now works correctly for those two Descendants.
Luna Remix Skill Adjustments and Value Changes
Nexon confirmed that the Remix Skill performance exceeded the intended level when equipping the Battlefield Artist Module on Luna. The Range value was changed from 20m to 12m. The Max Effect Range increase of 300% was maintained, and the Max Radius was changed from 60m to 36m. The Enhanced State trigger damage was changed from 12,934% to 11,019.4%. Nexon listed these adjusted values in the patch notes. The adjustment lowers the skill’s range and damage values.
Leaderboard Reset Schedule and Inventory Lighting Fix
Because of the Remix changes, Nexon scheduled a leaderboard reset for September 18 at 21:00 PDT. The reset affects the Void Erosion Purge: Challenge Solo category and the Karel’s Mothership: Conquest Solo category. Descendants subject to the reset are Luna and Ultimate Luna. The reset went into effect one hour after the patch launch. The hotfix also fixed an issue where the lighting on the character and background displayed an unintended blue tint when entering the Inventory. The blue tint no longer appears after this update. The reset was scheduled for the same evening as the patch release.
