Solo developer Tomas Sala shipped two new DLC packs and a major update for Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 1, 2026. The $19.99 sandbox building game from Wired Productions is set on a fantasy ocean world called the Ursee, where players design a fortress and expand it into an empire.

In the announcement, Sala said the release adds two brand new DLCs plus a huge update to the main game. He also said the game has evolved since 2024, with much of that shaped by player feedback and requests.

For players following related building games, Manor Lords is a medieval city-building strategy game that recently passed 4 million sales with its major Update 8. Satisfactory, a sandbox factory-building game, recently revealed its first paid DLC expansion.

Colossal Console Update

The Colossal Console Update brings the Xbox version in line with the PC development version. Sala calls it the biggest update ever for Xbox players.

Surveyors can now be upgraded, and a new enormous surveyor called the Behemoth carries huge guns and cannons. Curved walls have no restrictions on type, length, or angle, and new fortresses are available.

Players can sail any ship on an owned trade route. If a ship is sunk in combat, its captain is removed. The water shader and waves were also improved.

Wars were overhauled. Enemy forces can attack and rush back to defend their settlements, patrol ships can engage the player’s settlement or join its defense, and fortresses can blockade trade routes. New formations include commanding escorts to focus on the target closest to the cursor, or a loose formation where escorts pick their own targets.

Arbology towers can be planted to spawn trees and add green to settlements. The trees appear guarded by Remnant freebooter forces.

Verne Bannerless and Medieval Houses DLCs

The Medieval Houses DLC adds six new timber-clad houses for high fantasy settlements.

The Verne Bannerless DLC adds the Bannerless Corsair warbird, the Verne Missile ship, and the Piranha Fast airship. Sala describes the Verne and Piranha units as some of the most aggressive and hostile across the Ursee.
