Twitch Drops Ahead of Launch
NCsoft is running a Twitch Drops campaign for AION 2 during the game’s Advanced Access period. The reward tiers are laid out in a Steam Community post from October 4 titled “Advanced Access and War for Atreia Series 1 Twitch Drops.” Viewers earn in-game rewards by watching AION 2 streams before October 4 at 23:59 PDT, which is October 5 at 08:59 CEST. The free-to-play MMORPG launches globally on October 5.
The Advanced Access rewards are available on any channel streaming AION 2. A separate track requires tuning in to one of the 60 creators taking part in the War for Atreia series, who offer extra loot. Players claim and track their rewards through the Twitch Drops page, and the announcement also links to a Twitch Drops FAQ and the full list of the 60 creators. The announcement marks most of the rewards as bound items.
Advanced Access Rewards
The main reward track runs from September 30 through October 4 and unlocks eight tiers at set watch times: 15 minutes for the Cyber Glasses eyewear skin, 30 minutes for a Customization Voucher, 45 minutes for two Odyle Energy items, one hour for three Soul Codex items, two hours for 5,000 Enhancement Stones, four hours for ten Resurrection Spiritstones, six hours for a Kina Bundle worth 500,000, and eight hours for the White Headset helm. All eight tiers must be claimed before 23:59 PDT on October 4.
War for Atreia Creator Rewards
The War for Atreia track runs from October 2 through October 4 and is tied to the 60 creators. Its four tiers award an Appearance Change Voucher at 30 minutes, ten Soul Codex items at one hour, ten Resurrection Spiritstones at two hours, and a Mysterious Pet Chest with ten items at four hours.
Launch Timing
The drops campaign ends October 4, the same day AION 2’s Advanced Access period ends. Advanced Access closes in an 8-hour maintenance window that leads into the commercial launch. NCsoft revealed the global launch server lineup ahead of the October 5 release. AION 2 is a PC-only MMORPG built in Unreal Engine 5.
