Eleventh Hour Games shipped Last Epoch hotfix 1.5.1.1 on October 3, 2026, posting the patch notes to the action role-playing game’s Steam page. The version number marks the update as a hotfix to the Last Epoch 1.5.1 patch, which the studio released on October 2, 2026.
The hotfix resolves brief loading freezes and black textures in Caves, Tombs, and Cemeteries, stops Monolith boss Yrun from spawning invisible damaging zones, corrects Rage of Morditas gauntlets that sometimes lacked enough monsters, repairs a Legacy stash UI problem, and restricts three unique items to zones that are level 80 or higher.
Loading and texture fixes
The performance section of the hotfix resolves the brief freezes that players encountered when loading into Caves, Tombs, and Cemeteries. The encounters section separately corrects black textures that appeared inside those same three zone types.
Rage of Morditas and Monolith boss fixes
Rage of Morditas is the gauntlet activity added in the current season. Its gauntlets sometimes did not have enough monsters to complete. Eleventh Hour Games removed Wolven Cocoons and Dusk Spiders from respawning during the gauntlet. Rage of Morditas rewards and corrupted items created by the “Portents of Blood” Weaver Tree node can no longer appear as already ruined.
In the Monolith section, boss Yrun no longer spawns invisible damaging zones, and the endgame version of Yrun no longer spawns outside Empowered Monoliths.
UI and item drop changes
The UI section fixes an issue where the Stash Dropdown and Merge button could be missing in Legacy for characters from a season that just ended.
The Items section restricts Eternal Font, Death Dance, and Gift of the Eidolon so they only drop in zones that are level 80 or higher.
Last Epoch Season 5 is called Rage of the Frostborn, and it launched on October 1, 2026. The 1.5.1 patch that preceded this hotfix reworked the Circle of Fortune’s Lens of Tyranny so it grants a 2x base charge rate when the player has no banked favor, opened Pinnacle Morditas to Legacy and Offline characters, and fixed a batch of bugs across skills, campaign, Monolith, factions, and UI.
