The developers of Assassin’s Creed 4, Ubisoft has responded to the speculations and comments of fans that the company isn’t concerned about the PC gamers. There were a lot of problems in PC optimization regarding the game. The company justified with an answer that PC was the most focused gaming platform for our developers while developing Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag. Ubisoft denied all the media reports and rumors and said that in fact there developers love PC. Gary Steinman, the communications manager of the company explained it to the media.
The information also contained statement by Sylvain Trottier, an active producer of Ubisoft. He said that his statements regarding Assassin’s Creed IV have been taken in the wrong context. He said that the company faced some hassles while checking out the PC performance of the game during development phase. He explained that the problem lies with the maximum graphical enhancement and boundaries. The developers of the game misjudged those boundaries that led to such problems and issues for the gamers and fans. Research and Development was not done for the performance of the game on PC as the company was in a quest of enhancing the lighting effects of every particle. The producer further clarified that PC is Ubisoft’s first preference while it comes to game developing.
There isn’t any doubt about the graphics of Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag as it looks gorgeous and amazing to the eye. Another important aspect of the PC version of the game is that it has been developed keeping in view all the machines. The running performance and game play is smooth even on low spec machines. There are several additional features in the game for the high PC’s which makes the game interesting and exciting for every player. It seems like the game developers didn’t check the game at high resolutions as the gamers were complaining about it soon after the release of PC version of the game. The encounter of rogue waves in a violent manner is something that looks epic on the screen. The good thing about the game is that the developers have learned a lot from the previous versions of the game. The latest episode of the game looks pretty stable on the maximum settings on all consoles excluding the PC. There are various graphical glitches but the exciting newly introduced characters are what the fans want to talk and read about.
The company has promised its fans and gamers to resolve the issues in a short span of time. So PC players have to wait a bit long. The Black flag version of the pirates’ game is indeed a treat from Ubisoft as the credits at the end of the game leaves one bummed.
