If you ever played Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, you may have come across terminals hidden throughout the campaign, which when interacted with would reveal hints towards the storyline in Halo 4. Well, Halo 2 Anniversary is doing the same but this time will contain glimpses into Halo 5: Guardians. In an interview with Eurogamer, 343 Industries boss Bonnie Ross revealed The Arbiter will be revealing the hints from his perspective, as follows:
“In the same way the terminals in Halo 1: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition unlocked a motion comic that teased story details for Halo 4 from the perspective of pesky floating sphere Guilty Spark, the terminals in Halo 2 Anniversary tease the story of Halo 5, but this time from the perspective of The Arbiter – Master Chief’s Covenant Sangheili friend.”
It should also be noted the yet to be named Halo television show will have something to do with Halo 5 – the show will be produced by Steven Spielberg, and is currently set for an autumn 2015 release date. Halo 2 Annivesary, as well as Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4 will be bundled into one neat package within Halo: The Master Chief Collection. All games will be on one single disc, and will contain every single multiplayer map, including DLC. It hits shelves November 11 and is to contain beta access to Halo 5: Guardians once it becomes available.
