Sims is a life simulation game that isn’t generally known for its reality. As the player you control the life of your Sims through various activities and help them form relationships. EA announced the fourth installment for this series Sims 4 on May 6th with the release date set as September 2nd. The create a Sim and build mode has been remade and improved along with the big inclusion of emotions. Emotional state will play a handy role in Sims 4 and will effect your personality, social interactions and overall game play.
There have recently been some comments that Sims 4 won’t allow players to build pools or see their Sims in the toddler stage of life, developer EA Maxis confirms. The redesigned build mode is one of the main features of Sims 4, making the building dreams of players easier but according to producer Ryan Vaughan
“It’s not possible for us to include every single feature and piece of content we added to The Sims 3 over the last five years.”
He also added that it may be possible for the features that didn’t make the cut for Sims 3 to Sims 4 to be added in at a later date, so don’t fret too much, the genetic system will allow players to create family members of other Sims and as for ages this will include babies, children, teens, young adults, adults and elders.
“While we recognize that some of you will be disappointed that pools and toddlers won’t be available when The Sims 4 Base Game launches in September, you should know that we’re building an incredibly strong foundation that is capable of fulfilling every one of your desires in the years to come,”
Not including the sadistic satisfaction of making your Sim a pool and removing ladders thus dooming them has irritated faithful fans, and understandably too. Already there is a petition for the inclusion of such features at launch, there are more than 3,900 signatures already.
