Bungie has released a new gameplay trailer for Destiny, the developer’s upcoming Sci-Fi epic. The game is running on the Xbox One and in 1080p, the resolution that Bungie had been hoping to achieve in the final version of the game. Check out the video below.
Chris Tchou, a graphics engineer for Bungie, confirms in the video that the full release of Destiny will be run at ‘the same resolution, the same frame rate as the PS4 version.’ He goes onto to say that Bungie ‘got together with Microsoft’ by using some of their engineers to help optimize the game for the Xbox One.
The recent June update for the console released 10% extra GPU for developers to utilise and Chris Tchou explains that it definitely helped them reach the highly desired resolution. He also confirms that the upcoming Beta, which launches this Wednesday, will be running at 900p on Xbox One.
