If you love screen games, Machine Zone tosses you into a gigantic array of PvP strategy, wars and alliances. Kevin GU developed Game of War – Fire Age for the silvergames online platform. This is one game where you should be ready for one of the biggest battles of your lifetime as you set off to scout and build alliances.

From Mexico, the USA, France, Japan and many other nations, you will play with alliances and appreciate each other in the chats. The policy is to form new alliances, carve out your space as quickly as possible, build or upgrade a building using the “help” button for other team members to help you achieve your mission faster as well as earning allegiance points.

Here is the best gaming strategy, tips and tricks:

  1. Check with your team leaders about current allies and non-aggression pacts (NAP). Alliances are identified by a three-character code, a unique tag that appears before each player’s names in digression. You should be careful not to scout the other players in your team (NAP list).
  2. Use the map view to spigot the city you of your opponent. You need to evaluate their relative strength because it is their troop strength. If your opponent has more power than you have, you will definitely make significant losses. With more experience, players develop knowledge about their targets and how to rule out wiped targets by in a glance.
  3. From your overview hit the “Profile” button to view your combat stats and the opponent’s VIP status. If your opponent’s VIP is inactive, it means they are not active and are an easy hit. To get your target, hit on the “Alliance” button right at their “Profile”.
  4. If you are a beginner, you should target opponent in weak alliances unless and focus on targets instructed by your leader. Alliances with more than 75% of your power are strong and should not be your target. Those with no description on their profile are good targets because they are weak and have little or no organization. Check out your opponent’ strength by tapping on the “Members”.
  5. If you establish that they are weak, scout them out. By double clicking the arrow in the upper left corner of the screen, you will be directed to the map where you will be able to locate them. After locating them, tap the target to bring up their overview again and hit the Scout button. You will see the amount of silver required to send the scout plus the time you need to reach the target.
  6. Your mail screen will show you the Scout’s report as soon as the scout reaches your target. The report will detail the amount of resources, wall traps, and number of defending troops. It is good to research in your Scouting Academy to get details about your scout. Only attack when you have at least five times the combined traps and troops of your target. Do not wait for the rider to return to your city. Click on the “Mail” button and hit the “Reports” button.
  7. Following the quest lines will run you through the basics much better and lets you settle your foundations preparing you for your steady path towards being the best. However, you must beware of one particular quest – it will ask you to scout another player and a wrong one for that matter, setting you up for potential disaster.

Helping other members will also help level up your position and give your team more funds to spend. If you are the leader of alliances, you can buy all sorts of bonuses from the “Store”. As a leader, you can use up the funds in the Catalogue tab, but if you are not the leader, you can lobby the leader to do so.

Early on in the game (and continuing on as you play), keep adding more and more troops, using your academy to research troops, and upgrade your barracks so that you can train the troops that you unlock in the academy. The more troops, the more power you have, and when you send out loads of troops at the same time, you will be able to raid other peoples’ castles and resources that much more quickly. Once your peace period is off, find abandoned castles to attack repeatedly, since they will keep producing resources but their troops and defenses will die off quickly.

Scouting is taken as an act of aggression that many beginners often find themselves messing up. Your grouping might have rules about scouting and attacking; you should ask someone through the chat if there is something you do not know. Picking out a player with a random name full of letters and numbers is an easy target for scouting. Most of these targets have not fully thrown themselves into the game and do not remember renaming themselves, or they might have abandoned the game.

You can ask others for help to speed up your timers when building or researching things. Your name and reputation counts a lot because others are more likely to help you if they know who you are, rather than being an anonymous number. However, remember to follow orders. While your alliances can protect you from attack, you must prove to be a team player, however tedious it may be, it always pays off.

Scout for abandoned places to attack to find those players might that have given up but remain active and have left plenty of resources for you to gain and make easy profit. Even though building more barracks does not result in any added training lines, more barracks will help you train more troops at ago. The more barracks that you have, the more troops that you can set to train in a row. Build and upgrade enough of them and you will be able to train thousands of troops in one training line.

Before you occupy any forts, forests or other spaces, look around to make sure that no red dotted lines are leading toward it, as that means someone else is about to attack it. However, if you see a red line headed towards someone else’s empire, wait for their attack to finish, and then attack right after they leave, so that the first army will have already weakened their empire’s defenses for you.

Game of War – Fire Age can be very addictive. Enjoy.
