Nintendo have revealed their next mega evolution for upcoming games Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Legendary Pokemon Rayquaza will have a mega evolution and you can check out the trailer for him below.
Rayquaza is said to have a unique way of mega evolving, the description of the new trailer states:
‘The Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza is said to achieve Mega Evolution in a remarkable way—unlike that of other Pokémon—due to its unique biology. What is this unique method? And what is the mystery of Mega Evolution? All will become clear in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire!’
Rayquaza will also have a brand new move named ‘Dragon Ascent’ and an exclusive ability called ‘Delta Stream’. Rayquaza joins a bunch of new mega evolutions for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, other announced mega evolutions include Slowbro, Audino, Metagross, Sableye and more.
Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be launching on November 21st in the US and Australia, and November 28th in Europe. The game will be launch exclusively for Nintendo 3DS and 2DS.
