Operating System: Mac book Air comes with OS X Yosemite operating system which is dedicated for Apple users whereas Yoga 3 uses Windows 8.1 operating system from Microsoft. One can use windows as secondary OS in Mac book Air but it is tough to get OS X in Yoga 3.
