According to a page from Amazon Canada, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U “will be released on November 21, 2014.” This declaration has recently been updated on this page for the game, even though the developer (Nintendo) has yet to announce an official release date.
This means Amazon, one of the largest retailers of video games, has joined others who claim the same date. For example, someone has managed to capture a Mexico Ad with this specific date. Here’s the image:
Believe it or not, the launch date will on the Friday before Black Friday. The U.S. version of Amazon still lists a placeholder date of December 31 for the greatly-anticipated fighting game. As such, Amazon Canada’s listing could be incorrect and is not a confirmation that the game will indeed launch on November 21.
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS will be released in North America and Europe on October 3. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is slated to debut this holiday season. For more information, please visit the North America official website or Europe official website for both the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
