To celebrate the Fall season, Sony has announced a brand new PlayStation Store sale for the month of October via its PlayStation Blog. Starting on October 1st up until the 28th, players who purchase $100 or more in the entire PlayStation Store will receive a $15 credit. Take note that this offer is only valid for residents of the United States, Canada and Mexico.
This is a very similar deal as the Play 2014 Sale that we saw back in August except it isn’t only for specific titles in PS Store, it’s for anything you want. This a great opportunity to pick up a few games like Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Pier Solar and the Great Architects, Futuridium EP Deluxe, Natural Doctrine, and Chariot that were just released this week, but you can also plan ahead and pre-order games like Driveclub, NBA 2K15, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Far Cry 4, and Assassin’s Creed: Unity, which will all release later this year.
Also, keep in mind that you will not instantly get your $15 credit as soon as you spend $100 or more in the PS Store. A redemption code for your credit will be sent via email, XMB message on the PlayStation 3, or system notification on PlayStation 4/PlayStation Vita on or before November 7, 2014. You’ll have until December 5th at 11:59PM PST to redeem your code.
Are planning on taking advantage of this sale? If so, what game will you buy on the PlayStation Store? Let us know in the comments below and, as always, stay tuned to Gamer Headlines for all things gaming.
