[dropcap size=dropcap]T[/dropcap]he rumors have been confirmed: Call of Duty: Ghosts will be playable in HD format on both next gen consoles. However, the PS4 version will be the only one to feature FullHD video mode, the Xbox One version being down scaled to 720p.
Both versions will run at 60 frames per second, an information that will definitely give new motives for the critics of the game to reaffirm their statements. According to them, the hardware differences between the two consoles will be more visible than ever in some in-game situations.
On the other hand, it is possible that other factors will be determinant for the entire gameplay experience such as the less optimized version for Xbox One. The problems can be due to either the producers incompetence, a shorter amount of time allocated for its development or the superior programs made available to developers at Infinity Ward by Sony. We also note that Battlefield 4 will be available in 900p on PS4 and 720p on Xbox One.
Beyond these small problems for the game’s huge fan base, the franchise will try to raise the bar once again with this latest title, Call of Duty: Ghosts. The game was developed by Infinity Ward, the studio that created the original Call of Duty and it will be published by Activision. The official release date is November 5, 2013.
Minimal Call of Duty: Ghosts System Requirements
Compared to the informal Nvidia system requirements published previously, we received some new system requirements that are changed a little. For instance, the game no longer occupies 50 GB, but (only) 40 GB and the GeForce GTX 550 Ti GPU was replaced by the GeForce GTS 450 GPU. Otherwise, you need at least 6 GB of RAM in order to have a complete game experience.
