On the heels of three different Destiny collector’s editions being announced, it was revealed that the PlayStation timed exclusives will last for a year.
In the press release for the collector’s editions, it was also noted that both PlayStation versions will feature two expansions that will be timed exclusive until next fall.
PlayStation platforms will also include additional exclusive content for Expansion I and II and will remain exclusive until at least Fall of 2015
It’s unknown exactly what will be the exclusive content for PlayStation owners. Obviously with an expansion you’ll add more to the story, but the description for the first expansion is rather vague while the second expansion wasn’t even explained.
Also expect to see exclusive maps, weapons, and the other usual added bonuses, but nothing has official been revealed yet.
Either way, if you’re planning to get Destiny and are a multiple-console owner, be prepared to pick it up on one of the PlayStation platforms.
