[dropcap size=dropcap]B[/dropcap]lizzCon 2013 has proved to be the perfect opportunity for Blizzard Entertainment to reveal new details about the future of Diablo III. The expansion pack Reaper of Souls will bring something new to the table: the addition of a new class of characters (the Crusader) and the fifth act of the story.
First, we found out about Adventure Mode, a new game mode, different from the actual campaign. In Adventure Mode, most of the cut scenes and the additional dialogs will be removed, and all the waypoints from all the five acts of the game will be unlocked from the start. This game mode will feature the so-called Bounties, random rewards (money and experience) received when killing monsters.
Also in Adventure Mode, users will find the new Nephalem Rifts, portals through which they will be able to access randomly generated dungeons. Each of these dungeons will be easily completed as quests in no more than 10 to 15 minutes. The reward will be substantial, as Blizzard promised valuable loot for all those who finalize these parts of the game.

As Blizzard has already announced in recent news and press releases, Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls will be available for the new PlayStation 4 as well, in addition to the PC and Mac versions. The good news is that the original game and the expansion Reaper of Souls will not be sold separately for PS 4 users. Consequently, the two titles will be included in a single package, called Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition.
Besides the ability to play offline, the PlayStation 4 version of Diablo 3 will come with several other exclusive features such as: the possibility to use the touchpad controller for the inventory management or Avenger Kills. Through the Avenger Kills feature, monsters that killed a human player will gain in level and experience. They will be able to become more powerful and teleport in other user’s session, who will be greeted by a message that will inform him about whose killer each of the monsters are.
Furthermore, Blizzard has already confirmed that Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition will run in full HD mode on PlayStation 4. Users who already bought the PS 3 versions of the game will be able to import their characters on PS 4.
