Dropbox Partnering With Microsoft

by GH Staff

Recently, it has been reported by The Vera that to work on the distinct features of the Microsoft Office, Dropbox is partnering with Microsoft. With the new features, the users will be able to synchronize the program with the Dropbox in a smooth way without any breaks. This thing will also ensure the users that their files are safe. This collaboration seems to be quite surprising, but it is going to benefit the users to a greater extent in the long run. The users of Microsoft Office are expecting much more from the new functions.

The main reason behind the Microsoft partnering with the Dropbox is to make sure that Office suit is the best to use in order to edit the different word, power point and the excel files that are stored in the Dropbox. It seems that this office iPad version will offer more benefits to the users of Microsoft Office. A new update will be released soon that will enable the users to link their accounts to the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) iPad application store.  This thing will offer more ease-of-use and a smooth integration to the Microsoft Office users.

Customers have always been demanding for the integration of the Microsoft Office with the Dropbox so that they could enjoy more ease-of-use and breaks free integration as reported by the head of the Microsoft Office engineering team, Kirk koenigsbauer. Microsoft Office has always been working to please its users. It better knows that the users always want a quick and easy access to their contents. That is the reason that it has decided for a partnership with the Dropbox. This is another step of the Microsoft Office that has been taken to please its users.

Microsoft Office also has a file storage system of its own. This system of Microsoft is called OneDrive. The partnership of Microsoft Office with Dropbox will offer the users and extra cloud storage for iPad application. With the new function, by using the mobile application, the users will be able to open, edit, view and save their documents in the Dropbox Cloud storage system.

Every point discussed above only goes in the favor of the Dropbox. The reality is different from this. The Microsoft Office company has announced that it is working on its own set of applications so that the users could use the Office for editing their documents.

The users will be able to download the applications on their mobile phones directly to edit, view, browse and save their files. And everything will be synchronized to the Dropbox accounts of the users automatically. To use the android and iPad applications, the users just need to hold the Office 365 subscription.

In the first few months of the year 2015, Dropbox will support the Microsoft Office  with the help of their internet application. With the Microsoft Office Web applications, the direct editing of different file formats will be possible. The edited documents will then be saved in the Dropbox instead of OneDrive. Thus, this partnership of Microsoft Office with Dropbox will benefit every user.
