EA Sports has revealed on Twitter the 10 best defenders in this year’s eagerly awaited football instalment, FIFA 15.
Paris Saint-Germain’s Thiago Silva receives the best defending stats in FIFA 15 with a rating of 90, followed closely by Borussia Dortmund’s Mats Hummels (88 defending) in second place and Bayern Munich’s summer signing Mehdi Benatia (also 88 defending) as the third highest rated defender.
Listed below are the 10 best defenders in FIFA 15:
- Gerard Piqué (86 defending) — FC Barcelona
- Diego Godín (86 defending) — Atlético Madrid
- Giorgio Chiellini (87 defending) — Juventus
- Per Mertesacker (87 defending) — Arsenal
- Vincent Kompany (87 defending) — Manchester City
- Philipp Lahm (87 defending) — Bayern Munich
- Sergio Ramos (87 defending) — Real Madrid
- Mehdi Benatia (88 defending) — Bayern Munich
- Mats Hummels (88 defending) — Borussia Dortmund
- Thiago Silva (90 defending) — Paris Saint-Germain
Last week, EA Sports confirmed the official soundtrack for FIFA 15, featuring artists such as Foster the People, The Kooks and Kasabian, while new tracks by Avicii and The Ting Tings will also be included. Additionally, FIFA 15’s 50 best player ratings (featuring Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo) and the 20 fastest footballers (including Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale and Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang) were released earlier this month.
In other FIFA-related news, EA Sports unveiled the first Team of the Week for FIFA 15’s Ultimate Team mode, which includes Manchester United’s attacking midfielder Ángel Di María, Barcelona’s Neymar Jr. and Borussia Dortmund’s Shinji Kagawa. The full Team of the Week can be found here.
FIFA 15 will launch on September 23rd in North America, September 25th in Europe and September 26th in the UK for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Wii and PC.
