ZeniMax Online Studios has published The Elder Scrolls Online October 2026 Survival Guide through Steam Community Announcements. The guide was posted on October 2, 2026, and it maps out key dates and activities across the month for ESO players. Several events are already underway, while larger content updates arrive later in October.

The guide covers the High Seas of Tamriel in-game event, the Golden Pursuits campaign, the base game addition of the Greymoor and Wolfhunter DLCs, the launch of Season Two, the Witches Festival, and the TESOctober community event.

High Seas of Tamriel and Golden Pursuits Run Through October 14

The High Seas of Tamriel in-game event runs from September 30 to October 14, with activities focused on ship-to-ship combat, ocean depth exploration, and sunken treasure rewards. The Golden Pursuits campaign “Set Sail on the High Seas” runs in the same window, and completing event activities earns gold, a new pet, and a piratical style. A separate community campaign, Ninja Pulls’ High Seas Shindig, runs from September 30 to October 4 with a lineup of ESO streamers. ZeniMax developers also joined the streamer NinjaPulls for a Let’s Play of the new event on October 1.

Greymoor and Wolfhunter DLC Move to Base Game on October 19

On October 19, the Greymoor and Wolfhunter DLCs move to the ESO base game in preparation for the launch of Season Two. All ESO players can access this content starting October 19 at no charge. The shift includes access to the Western Skyrim zone, the Antiquities system, the Moon Hunter Keep and March of Sacrifices dungeons, and the Kyne’s Aegis trial.

Season Two “Echoes of Skyrim” Launches October 21

Season Two, titled “Echoes of Skyrim”, launches October 21 and runs until January 27. It explores Eastern Skyrim, adds solo dungeon versions of March of Sacrifices and Moon Hunter Keep, and unlocks rewards with a new Tamriel Tome. The season includes a host of seasonal events and Golden Pursuit campaigns.

The Witches Festival in-game event returns from October 21 to November 4, with bonus rewards including Trade Bars and Plunder Skulls. The TESOctober 2026 community event runs from October 1 to October 31.
