Grand Theft Auto and Forza are the main focus of this weeks Xbox Live Deals with Gold
For players who thought that GTA 4 was too serious, give Ballad of Gay Tony an (explosive) shot.
It’s the start of a new year and that means its time for the first batch of Xbox Live Deals with Gold for the year, which this week is mainly focused on the Grand Theft Auto and Forza series. Like always these deals will only be available to Xbox Live Gold members and the following offers will be only be valid till January 12th.
Starting with the Xbox One, players can get Forza Motorsport 5: Racing GOTY Edition with a 40% discount, while those more interested in testing out their grey matter should try the puzzle platformer Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, since it has received a 67% discount.
Xbox One Gold members will also be able to get the stealth title Styx: Master of Shadow with a 60% discount. Finally they’ll also be able to run their own zoo at a discounted price since Zoo Tycoon has received a 50% discount.
Sure the cars themselves are expensive but that doesn’t mean you have to spend a fortune on Forza 5 itself this week.
Meanwhile on the Xbox 360 are a little less family friendly because every GTA game on the Xbox Live is getting a discount. Starting with the full titles, Grand Theft Auto 5 got a 67% discount while both Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto 4 have received a 75% discount. Speaking of Grand Theft Auto 4 both the Lost & Damned and the Ballad of Gay Tony expansions have also received a 75% discount so Xbox 360 players will be able to get the full GTA 4 experience at a discounted price this week.
Finally Xbox 360 gamers can also get the Forza Motorsport 4 Season Pass received a 40% discount though oddly enough Forza Motorsport 4 itself hasn’t received a discount.
From today till January 12 Xbox Live gold members can get discounts on titled such as Grand Theft Auto 5, Styx: Master of Shadow and Forza Motorsport 5 as part of the Xbox Live Deals with Gold promotion.
