It has been reported that the PlayStation 4 version of Grand Theft Auto V will have a massively sized mandatory install.
According to PSU, the mandatory install size for GTAV has been revealed to be 50 GB for the PS4 version of the title. It is unsure, at the time of this writing, if this is only for those wanting to download the title digitally or also for users buying the game on disc at retail.
The news came from the European PlayStation store that had posted information about the upcoming port on it’s store front. The information has since been removed, but a user on GTA Forums took a screen shot and has posted it online for all to see.
It is also unclear as to whether this would be the same mandatory install for Xbox One users, but it is a possibility that it will be the same install size across both consoles.
For those who have enough available space on their hard drive, the wait for the current-gen versions of Grand Theft Auto V won’t be long when the title releases on November 18th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
