While Rockstar’s GTA 5 may have recently been accused of being a violent, misogynistic video game and the target of an Australian retailer ban, the game undoubtedly still has a hold on avid gamers around the world. It’s longevity is due in part to its multiplayer component, GTA Online.
However, one feature that Rockstar has promised to implement in GTA 5, but still has not done so, is online heists.
Since the game’s original release last year and its current-gen iteration’s launch last month, fans have been clamoring for the ability to perform online heists with their friends – to no avail.
Fortunately, according to some rumors floating around various parts of the internet, online heists may be coming to GTA 5 (for all available platforms) on December 23rd.

GTA 5 Heists, Holiday-Themed DLC Coming 12/23?
According to NillxModz, Rockstar is rumored to add holiday-themed DLC items, in addition to the implementation of online heists to GTA 5, come December 23rd.
You can view what is expected in the next update/DLC for GTA 5 below:
- Gradient Controlled Snow (More snow on the pavement on Christmas morning then at the end of Christmas day – this means the roads will become increasingly icy throughout the day – only applies to current-generation systems – old generation will have normal snowfall
- Exclusive Cops and Crooks Mission (Part of the Heists and Holiday Season DLC)
- 1 Limited Time Christmas Apartment Interior (Only applies to next generation – old generation will get discounts on selected apartments instead)
- 8 Christmas-themed clothing items (Scarf, t-shirt, suit jacket, pumps and suit trousers)
- Red Sky effect during snowfall (next-generation effect only)
“Holiday Season” DLC will release with the Heist DLC on December 23rd, 2014 for all platforms!
