[dropcap size=dropcap]G[/dropcap]ood news for all Grand Theft Auto 5 players, or more precisely, Grand Theft Auto Online players. Rockstar has come off announcing that the stimulus package in the form of a cool half-a-million dollars in payment has started to roll out.

If you were one of those eager fans who ever tried playing GTA Online in October you stand to benefit from this payout. As we recall that when Rockstar first launched GTA Online, it was plagued by problems like connection issues and character progress losses. Some reported they could never connect and even if they did, they couldn’t stay connected for long.

Rockstar immediately got into damage-control mode and had announced a whopping $500,000 in-game GTA money as compensation for all those who were affected by the ordeal in one way or the other.  As mentioned, Rockstar is looking to keep its end of the promise in order to woo the players into coming back for more of GTA Online.

Rockstar said, “We expect that it will take up to two full days for the Stimulus Package to be fully delivered to the entire player base from October 2013, so please be patient if you do not see it appearing in your in-game bank account just yet.”

Then it went on to add in its post, “Thanks go out to everyone for their continued patience and understanding while we worked through these issues, and we can’t wait to bring more into the world of GTA Online”.

The stimulus package is supposed to be delivered through direct deposit into the player’s accounts. Players can expect to receive the money in the next 48 hours, that is, by the end of Friday. Have fun with that.
